About Department
The Department of Computer Science & Engineering started in year 2007 with the intake of 60 students. As increasing demand for computer professional our management proposed an increase in it and with the approval of AICTE it increased up to 180 students. Along with UG course it also runs PG course with the intake of 24 students.
The department offers excellent computing facility through latest computer system, advance servers, multimedia kits, leading software, 24×7 internet facility etc. the department has 9 labs (with the capacity of 30 computers) named OOPS/DSA lab, ADA, RDBMS Lab, Computer Network, Operating System, Compiler Designing, Java, Python, CGMM Lab, PG Research Lab.
To promote the research activities among the students we have student’s chapter membership of different professional bodies like CSI (Computer society of India), CSTA and IEEE-CS etc. Our PG students working on recent research areas and published research papers in various SCOPUS indexed journals and conferences at national and international level.
To make our students industry ready the department along with the T&P Department started training in two categories. First in general category provide training on aptitude and verbal whereas in second category provide training on programming. In programming category we provide training on C/C++, advance C++, Java, advance java, pythan, Oracle, Redhat etc. We trained our students for certification courses like OCAJP, PEGA, AWS, RHCSA etc. Many of our students certified in these courses like ORACLE Certification, Red Hat Certification, Java Certification and AWS Certification.

Future Of Computer science and Engineering
The work processes of computer scientists are like those of natural scientists, and students could learn the processes of science in computing, perhaps more easily than when working with the physical world. Computing taught as a science will introduce computing as a powerful tool for supporting thinking. The department is working for the following:
• The department has planned to organize a Technical Event every year in which we will have paper presentation and various other technical activities.
• The department organize extra lectures for weak students.
• The department will organize social activities as a part of social service to the nation.
