• About Department

    The Department of Civil Engineering at the Technocrats Institute of Technology (Excellence), Bhopal was established in year 2010. The department has produced several eminent engineers who have made significant contributions in the planning and execution of Civil Engineering projects in India as well as abroad.
    The Department offers a four-year course leading to the Bachelor’s Degree (B.Tech) in Civil Engineering and two-year course leading to Master’s degree (M.Tech) in major specialisation of civil engineering (Construction Technology and Management).
    The Department is known for its internationally reputed faculty having expertise in diverse fields. It has built up a wide research potential.
    The faculty of the department continues to strive loftier by exploring new frontiers of knowledge, imparting the latest technical knowledge to the students and conducting high quality of research. The faculty also renders technical advice on live engineering problems to various Government and Private Sector companies throughout country.

    To develop technically competent and socially responsible Civil Engineering professionals with up-to-date knowledge and innovative ideas for contributing in techno and socio-economic development of the country as a whole and region in particular.

  • Mission of the department:

    M1: To achieve academic excellence in Civil Engineering by imparting in-depth technical knowledge to the students through conceptual and practical exposure on latest tools and technologies

    M2: To provide an environment & opportunity for students to grow and bring out their inherent talents for their overall development through collaborative and professional activities and prepare them for lifelong learning in global perspectives

    M3: To inculcate professional ethics, right human values and promote good communication and leadership skills in Civil Engineering students for working in interdisciplinary domain with innovative approach to address the needs of the society.

  • PROGRAM SPECIFIC OUTCOMES (PSOs)

    PSO1: Graduates will be able to apply the knowledge of analysis and design to cater the infrastructural need of the society in Structural, Hydraulic, Transportation and Irrigation related fields.

    PSO2: Graduates will be able to execute quality construction work within the stipulated period of time and resources with due consideration of energy conservation and surrounding ecology.

    PSO3: Graduates will be able to plan and execute civil engineering projects applying relevant codes of practice for materials and techniques.
