The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) started in the year 2020 with an intake of 60 students. In view of the emergence of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning as a full-fledged discipline, this department has been set up with the approval of AICTE. The current intake of the department is 180 students. The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) is committed to its mission of achieving excellence through the all-round development of its students by imparting high quality, research-oriented Under Graduate education to produce competent technocrats. To promote the research activities among the students, we have student chapter membership of different professional bodies like CSI (Computer Society of India), CSTA and IEEE-CS etc. A highly qualified team of faculty members with rich experience in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning is the backbone of the Department. The department offers excellent computing facilities through the latest computer system, advanced servers, multimedia kits, leading software, 24×7 internet facility etc. The student computer ratio is one is to one. To make our students globally-competitive, distinguished professionals from industries, eminent researchers, expert speakers and guest professors are invited to share their knowledge and expertise with us. Students will be motivated to join various technical and non-technical societies and forums. To make our students industry-ready the department along with the T&P Department started training in two categories. Firstly, we provide training on aptitude and verbal whereas secondly, we provide training on core programming domains. In the programming category, we provide training on computer technologies like C/C++, Java, Python, Oracle, Redhat etc. All these are well in use in industries. We train our students for certification courses like OCAJP, PEGA, AWS, RHCSA etc.
